Free Family Activity- Seed Ball kits

Lake Trail Community Education Society is offering a limited number of free ‘Seed Ball’ kits for families. Get your hands dirty and support pollinators in your neighbourhood!
Each kit comes with instructions and the ingredients to make Seed Balls; clay, soil, and wildflower seeds.
Why grow wildflowers? They are beautiful, the bees and butterflies love them, and they will continue to produce beautiful flowers for years.
LTCES Seed Ball kits are recommended for ages five through twelve.
Pick up takes place on Monday, April 12th, between 3:30 and 4:30, in the Lake Trail Community School Garden.
** If pick up is a barrier, we can make alternate arrangements.

What's the buzz about pollinators?
LTCES has reached out to local bee and pollinator experts and are collecting short audio clips for you to share with the children in your life!
Stay tuned for these fun and educational clips, which will be posted in early April.
